Welcome to the Mara Jewellery website. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern our relationship in relation to this website.

"We" "us" "our" "I" "we" and "Jane Garrett" refer to the owner of the Mara Jewellery website www.marajewellery.co.uk.

"You" and "your" refers to all persons who use this website or place an order. 

Our contract

When you place an order, you will be sent an email confirming receipt and containing the details of your order. Your payment is due before your product is dispatched. Your order represents an offer to me to purchase a product which is accepted by me when I send email confirmation to you that I have dispatched that product to you (the "Dispatch Confirmation Email"). That acceptance will be complete at the time I send the Dispatch Confirmation Email to you and is effective regardless of whether or not you receive the e-mail.

I am free to withdraw from a prospective contract at any time prior to acceptance. This also applies in the case of any error or inaccuracy in respect of the goods or services, any description applied to the goods or services, the availability of the goods or services, or the order itself.

Full payment is due at the time of booking.  If payment is not received, I reserve the right to cancel the order without further notice to you.

Please note orders can only be accepted from the United Kingdom. Under the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from the day after the day of receipt of the goods, without giving a reason. If your order has been confirmed but you have not yet received the item(s), please contact me using the "Contact Us" page. If your order has been despatched, you will also need to return the cancelled item(s) by Recorded Delivery at your own expense to the address which we will provide. I will refund the order or relevant part of it, including the original delivery charge to you if the whole order is returned, as soon as possible (but within 30 days of cancellation).  

Prices

The prices displayed on Mara Jewellery website are correct at the time of display. However, I reserve the right to alter prices from time to time without notice. When I have accepted an order I will not change the price that applies to that order. 

Availability of Goods

All goods advertised for sale on the Mara Jewellery website are subject to availability. If an item turns out to be unavailable I will inform you by e-mail or by telephone.

I will not charge you for goods that I cannot supply. However I will not be responsible for any damage or losses that you may suffer if I fail to supply goods.

I have attempted to display the goods on the site as accurately and fairly as possible but am subject to the available reproduction techniques. 

Electronic communications

When you visit this website or send emails to me / Mara Jewellery you are communicating with me electronically. I communicate with you by email or by posting notices on the website. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from me electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that I provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Privacy Policy

By placing your order you confirm that you agree to use your correct name and address and to supply any other details reasonably requested. Placing an order confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy and the information on the Making a Purchase page.

I will endeavour to ensure that the goods are delivered by any delivery date estimated by me but cannot guarantee that goods will be delivered by that date

I am totally committed to protecting your privacy. Cookies are used to keep track of the contents of your basket once you have selected an item and we use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used for statistical analysis purposes only. Data collected by this site is used only to take and fulfill orders, to administer and enhance the site and service and for internal record keeping.

Information is only disclosed to third parties for goods delivery purposes and details will not be passed on to any other third party, except where there is a legal requirement to do so.

I do not retain or have access to any debit/credit card details - payment systems are through third parties, i.e. PayPal. On payment all card details are taken by the third party payment services on their encrypted secure servers.

You can check the information held about you by emailing me. If you find any inaccuracies I will delete or correct it promptly.

This website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave this site, you should note that I do not have any control over that other website, so cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites.

Events beyond our reasonable control

I will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond my reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
